MASTER-SAAO robotic telescope  located in South Africa (South African Astronomical Observatory) was pointed to the SWIFT GRB220402.16 errorbox  48254 sec after notice time and 48262 sec after trigger time at 2022-04-02 17:19:05 UT, with upper limit up to  18.7 mag. Observations started at twilight.  The observations began at zenith distance = 58 deg. The sun  altitude  is -10.4 deg.
